The programme started its education in 1996-1997 Academic year. In the programme three basic branches as designing, gem stones and metal education is given. The programme uses all kinds of form and figures from past to present in accordance with basic jewelry designing principles. The programme consists designing new products ,cognition and naming precious and semi precious gem stones, finging and noting gem stones in the area and dressing gem stones in various methods, introduction of materials used in metal dressing and techniques and making jewelry with precious metals.
